PP sheet

Polypropylene sheet serves two distinct markets. Thin-gauge (0.3–1.2 mm) feeds thermoforming: food pots with heat resistance PET lacks, industrial trays, returnable transport packaging. Thick plate (to 5 mm and beyond) feeds fabrication: welded tanks, liners, machine guards — PP welds beautifully and shrugs off chemicals.

Specification points: homopolymer (stiffer) versus copolymer (tougher, better cold impact), thickness and tolerance, format (roll, cut sheet, plate), colour to RAL, corona treatment for print, and recycled-content options with batch declarations. Food-contact grades ship with a DoC. Classified HS 3920.20. Turkish extruders are established suppliers of both gauges to European converters; the UK–Türkiye FTA takes the tariff to zero with an origin declaration.
