Keeping material in the loop
The environmental case for this trade is simple: plastic that goes back into production is plastic that did not go to landfill or an incinerator. The figures below are based on the throughput of our founders' Türkiye operations, and we publish the method alongside them.
The figures below cover material handled by our founders' recycling operations in Türkiye — not shipments by Cyclomer Ltd, which is a new company. That operation runs at 12 containers a week.

How these numbers are calculated
These are arithmetic, not estimates, and anyone can recompute them. We take the known throughput of the Türkiye operation — 12 containers a week at roughly 21 tonnes each — and multiply by the time elapsed since 1 January 2026. That tonnage is then multiplied by an emission factor weighted to the mix of material handled. The counter advances every hour for that reason: it reflects elapsed time at a stated rate, not a random increment. Cyclomer Ltd's own shipments are added separately, and only once a weighbridge ticket exists.

The factors are taken from the low end of published ranges — we would rather under-count than overstate.

How we operate
Licensed outlets only
Every consignee's environmental permit and remaining import quota is verified before contract. If we cannot establish where material ends up, we do not ship it — every enforcement case that damaged this industry's name began with that step being skipped.
Single grade, clean loads
Mixed, contaminated loads cannot be sorted at destination and become waste again. We buy single-polymer, sorted material only — that is what photo grading is for. A clean load means both a better price and material that genuinely gets recycled.
Sea freight first
Container shipping emits far less per tonne-kilometre than road haulage. We route the corridor by sea as standard and use road only for the first and last mile between site and port.

- 2028Sea freight only on the UK–Türkiye corridor for all contracted volumes, with road used solely for first and last mile.
- 2030Measured and reported Scope 1 and 2 emissions for our own operations, published annually alongside these figures.
