Pallet-top sheets

The humblest product in the index and one of the highest-volume: a pre-cut LDPE sheet laid over a pallet load before wrapping or hooding, closing the "roof" that stretch wrap leaves open. It keeps rain, dust and warehouse grime off the top layer, and in food logistics it is part of hygiene protocols.

Supplied as perforated rolls of sheets sized to pallet footprints (1200×1000 mm loads take sheets around 1500×1500 mm and up), in gauges of 12–35 µm, clear or black. Frequently made from high-recycled film — an ideal application for rLDPE, since mechanical demands are modest. Specification: sheet dimensions, gauge, colour, perforation, recycled content. Classification follows form: plain film sheet under HS 3920.10.
