An office in London, boots on the ground in Türkiye. One company, one file, two languages.
Cyclomer is a wholesale trading company registered in England and Wales, founded by people with decades of combined experience in Turkish industry and in maritime logistics. The company exists because of a simple observation: the UK–Türkiye plastics corridor is large, proven, and badly served at both ends.
On the UK side, waste holders want buyers who can prove where material goes. On the Turkish side, licensed recyclers want suppliers who ship to the acceptance spec, understand the quota process, and speak Turkish. In the middle sit brokers who, too often, have never seen either end.
We work differently. Our Türkiye partners inspect production plants in person; we verify a consignee’s licence and quota before contract; we photograph every load and document every shipment. The London office runs UK trading, compliance and customer relationships. At both ends, negotiation happens in the counterparty’s own language — in this trade, that is a real difference, not a slogan.
The claim behind our name is unglamorous: in this corridor, trust is built from zero, document by document. The industry’s history — the illegal exports documented in 2021, the bans and quotas that followed — makes that unavoidable. We do not ignore that history; we built the business as its antidote.
