Many UK converters manufacture packaging for multinational brands distributing across North America. Standardised US rules mean these converters must ensure their supply chains—which increasingly rely on high-quality recycled polymers sourced from Turkish processors—can provide robust, verifiable data on recycled content. Turkish recyclers exporting post-consumer resins (PCR) like rPET, HDPE, or PP will face indirect pressure to align with these emerging federal standards to remain preferred partners in global supply networks.
